How to review incorrect AI-transcribed lyrics manually

Correct a lyric draft you obtained elsewhere, split or merge phrases, and check timing by ear. This site does not currently transcribe audio.

Bring your own lyric draft: No automatic speech recognition

LyricVideo.net does not run automated speech-to-text or vocal separation algorithms. If you generated a song using Suno or another music tool, copy the text draft directly from the creator platform or paste your authored lyrics.

Automated AI transcription models frequently introduce errors—mishearing homophones, duplicating chorus blocks, missing ad-libs, or hallucinating words during vocal runs. Treat any third-party transcript as an unverified rough draft that requires human review.

Correct wording and spelling before timing lines

Before adjusting timestamps, listen carefully to your selected audio passage and correct typographical errors in the text area. Check character names, slang, rhyming words, and repeated refrains against the sung vocals.

Organize the text so that each row represents a coherent, self-contained musical phrase. Retain a backup copy of your lyrics in an external text file before making sweeping batch replacements in the editor.

Split or merge phrases for rhythmic balance

When a single lyric line contains too many words, click "Split". The editor will divide the text near its midpoint and split the assigned time interval into two equal halves. Conversely, click "Merge" to combine short consecutive lines into a single sentence.

Remember that splitting and merging are layout conveniences; they divide time mathematically rather than through acoustic analysis. You will still need to fine-tune the resulting line intervals by ear.

Verify line boundaries using numeric and playhead controls

Use the numeric second inputs to make granular timing corrections, or pause playback and tap "Mark start" / "Mark end". Every line start must precede its end, and all timestamps must fall within your chosen audio boundaries.

MDN Web Docs notes that browser media clocks (HTMLMediaElement.currentTime) can exhibit slight jitter based on device hardware and privacy mitigation settings. Continuous listening and manual replay remain the most reliable standard for lyric synchronization.
