To provide the lyric video workspace, we store uploaded audio files, file titles, pasted lyric lines, line timestamps, selected visual templates, aspect ratios, and permission confirmation records. Account sign-in stores an email address, basic profile information when provided via Google OAuth, and a salted password hash for email/password credentials. Password hashes are stored in private database columns and never exposed in public profile fields.

Waitlist and product notifications

When you submit your email address to our export waitlist, we store your email address, referral source, and registration timestamp in our database. This information is used strictly to notify you when clean 1080p MP4 exports and billing become available. Waitlist data is kept separate from registered account credentials. You may request removal from the waitlist at any time by emailing [email protected].

Essential cookies and abuse prevention

Guest editing relies on an HttpOnly session cookie (anon_session_id) so you can return to an active draft without logging in. Authentication sessions use standard secure session cookies. To protect our infrastructure and storage from automated scraping or denial-of-service abuse, uploads are guarded by Cloudflare Turnstile and server-side rate limits. Rate limits utilize hashed IP-derived identifiers stored with short window expiries in Cloudflare D1. Storage, access, and retention

Audio files are stored directly in Cloudflare R2 object storage. Project metadata, lyrics, and user credentials reside in Cloudflare D1 SQLite databases. Audio playback URLs are time-limited and require either authenticated project ownership or a matching unexpired guest cookie.

Guest drafts expire after 7 days unless claimed by an authenticated account. While maintenance tasks periodically purge expired guest assets, temporary backup snapshots and infrastructure logs may persist briefly before standard cycle purges. Always retain an external copy of original music files and authored lyrics.

Third-party processing and AI models

The current LyricVideo.net release does not transmit your audio or lyrics to external AI speech-to-text models, transcription APIs, or machine learning training datasets. Browser previews are rendered locally in your client device’s HTML5 Canvas.

Optional audience measurement

Google Analytics is loaded only if an analytics measurement ID is configured and you explicitly grant permission below. It remains disabled by default. If you disable it, future page visits will not load the measurement script. Google Analytics Help: Safeguarding your data

Account deletion and data requests
